CEO & Security Operations Manager

Ke’John Ervin is the Lead Security Consultant and Director of Operations with Ballistic Security Services LLC. He also holds the professional title of Lead Behavioral Technician within the New Britain Public School District.

As the Director of Security Operations, he is the lead architect in developing strategic security operating plans and is directly responsible for the management of the company’s security contracts. He oversees the hiring, training, retention, and deployment of the agencies specialized security operation teams. Our agency under his direction has made a name for itself in the security industry for specializing in providing small and large venue entertainment security services. This entails the development of Strategic Security Plans and Deployment Strategies, Armed and Unarmed Executive Protection, Small and Large Venue Security, Bail Enforcement, School Security, and Crisis Intervention Specialist. His main focus is to help the agency grow its global image and continued reputation for providing stellar customer service oriented protective services.

Ke’John is a Licensed Bail Enforcement Agent, Executive Protection Specialist, Certified Protection Officer, Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapist, and Registered Behavioral Technician. Ke’John has several years of martial arts and de-escalation training. He actively studies many self-defense disciplines such as Krav Maga, Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Western Boxing. These years of combat training, on top of receiving many advanced security trainings and certifications make him a valuable asset to our agencies training division. He is certified to teach many different things but is most well-known for his ability to teach MOAB for Public Safety Officers Physical Restraint Training. His experience with mental health, entertainment venues, and club security allows him to have a huge impact with tailoring his trainings to many different scenarios for effective small group instruction. His expertise helps boost our agencies versatility and competency in the protection industry. Lastly, his acquired certifications and experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis as a Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapist, Registered Behavioral Technician and an QBS Safety Care Behavioral Safety Training Instructor gives him advanced knowledge and the confidence to successfully respond and mitigate any behavioral outburst when dealing with emotional disturbed or developmental delayed individuals specifically on a school campus, homeless shelter, clinical and hospital setting, or residential facility. Ke’John is the perfect liaison to bridge the gap between security and mental health for any institution or facility.

Ke’John has also been a part of the City of New Haven’s community development where he was LEAP counselor, Soup Kitchen Volunteer, and a Patrol Officer with the New Haven Chapter of Guardian Angels.

Ke’John has successfully obtained an associate of science degree in Criminal Justice studies from Gateway Community College. He is currently attending “The Chicago School for Professional Psychology” to obtain his bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral analysis and become a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA).
